ZINOJA FOUNDATION The zenith of rationality consists in respect and or concern for the otherness. Humanity essentially finds its authenticity in sharing; sharing is reaching out; and this is genuine display of love for others. Our world is bedeviled with innumerable maladies which reduce the possibility of decent living, happiness and hope generally in the future. Some of these pains are natural while others result from mischief-making from man to man as seen in the various ethno-religious and political clashes, among others. These have rendered a reasonable number of children incapacitated, destitute and hence vulnerable.

Their circumstances necessarily beg for assistance from well-meaning individuals to put them on the path of progress, at least, to bequeath to them the glorious legacy of education. It is in this light that ZINOJA FOUNDATION springs to the fore, with the view to harnessing resources from equally concerned and privileged individuals as Non-profit, Non-Governmental selfless foundation created to impact and change the world and committed to improving the quality of life of disadvantaged people by the demonstration of unconditional love towards mankind.

The Foundation is a collective venture for “ordinary citizens” to put smiles on the faces of the hopeless and disadvantaged people with the over-all aim of putting our society on the path of progress.

Barr. Abbas Ochogwu

Founder

Abbas Onoja Ochogwu is the Founder of Zinoja Foundation. Ochogwu, hails from Benue State in Nigeria and is a Youth activist, Social Crusader, Writer and an Abuja Based Legal Practitioner. A passionate philanthropist and believer in the concept of the universal human family, he has been fascinated by stories of missionaries and humanitarians from childhood including but not limited to the likes of Harriet Tubman, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi and Garifuna and Ghanaian activists committed themselves to vigorous life of unconditional generosity to the betterment of the human race irrespective of race, colour, tribe, background or religious persuasion. He is also a fierce advocate of the law and social justice.

Amarachi Sharon Onyeabo

Head of Administration

Amarachi is a lawyer, who has a strong commitment to humanitarian services and is driven by a passion for the development of human and material resources in Nigeria and Africa. She reserved her LLB from the University of Essex, England in 2014 and was called to the Nigeria Bar in December, 2015. Alongside her career, she continues to engage in volunteer work.

Oche Victor

Executive Director

VICTOR O. OCHE is a trained and certified professional mediator and conciliator by the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) with an unflinching passion for humanity. He holds an LL.B from Benue State University and a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. He is a passionate advocate, life coach, public and consultant, activist and social crusader based in Abuja. He is currently pursuing a certified training in Intellectual Property Law with the World Intellectual Property Organisation.

Omodele O. Ifeoluwa

Omodele Oluwaseun Ifeoluwa is a young dedicated and highly resourceful legal practitioner with strong work ethics and passionate zeal for legal practice and justice in its entirety.

Joshua Agbo

Chairman Governing Council

Joshua Agbo, a Taylor & Francis author, a Lecturer and the Deputy Director, Centre for Gender Studies, Rev. Fr. Moses Oshio Adasu University, Makurdi, received his Ph.D. in Post-colonial African Literature from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK., in 2018. He is currently the Chairman, Governing Council & Presiding Director, Zinoja Foundation, Abuja, Nigeria.

Dianaabasi Okon Okopo

Research & Development Manager

Diana Abasi Okon Okop is a Legal Practitioner from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. With an LL.B Hons degree from the University of Uyo and her B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, she is currently pursuing her LL.M degree in Energy Law and Policy as well as passion for legal practice and justice in its entirety.

Marcus Ijioma

Program Manager

A graduate of Languages and Linguistics from Benue State University, Makurdi. Marcus Ijoma is a communication expert with nearly two decades experience. He has worked as Volunteer Communication and PR strategist with Generation for Peace, Jordan, CEDSI, Army of David, Market Place Empowerment Foundation all in Rivers State, Nigeria.
